James King gives his thoughts on the best movies to watch this weekend on the big screen with James King's Top Movie Picks.
Brooklyn (12A) - The wise-beyond-her-years Saoirse Ronan is delicately devastating in this Fifties drama about an Irish girl who emigrates to New York. Julie Walters brings the laughs as only she can, playing her no-nonsense landlady.
Spectre (12A) - It's the Bond film that throws everything - action! romance! silly jokes! - into the mix and still comes out on top. Sam Mendes and his team know what they're doing, papering over any plot cracks with some serious style.
The Lobster (15) - Beautifully bizarre drama set in a near future where singletons find themselves transformed into animals if they fail to fall in love. Colin Farrell, Olivia Colman and Ben Whishaw do their best deadpan to ensure the weirdness stays just the right side of ridiculous.
