James King gives his thoughts on the best movies to watch this weekend on the big screen with his Top Movie Picks.
Miss You Already (12A) - Weepy tale of chalk-and-cheese BFFs starring Toni Collette (who's into high heels and PR) and Drew Barrymore (who's into Birkenstocks and gardening). The plot might be predictable but there's a down-to-earth charm in the honest way it confronts serious illness.
Life (15) - True story about photographer Dennis Stock (Robert Pattinson) and his quest to get a pre-fame James Dean into the pages of Life magazine. The backdrop of 50s Hollywood is beautifully recreated and Dane DeHaan perfectly captures the sensitive side of the late teen icon.
Everest (12A) - Grand vistas, beefy drama and Jake Gyllenhaal at his most charismatic. This true story might be bleak... but you'll feel like you've been up the mountain too by the time the credits roll.
