Everest (12A) - Grand vistas, beefy drama and Jake Gyllenhaal at his most charismatic. This true story might be bleak... but you'll feel like you've been up the mountain too by the time the credits roll.
Bill (PG) - The Horrible Histories team take on Shakespeare in this family friendly spoof that nods to Monty Python and Blackadder with its bucketload of eccentric British chuckles.
Legend (18) - Patchy but powerful biopic of 60s London's most famous gangsters, Ronnie & Reggie Kray. The acting is electric: not just a snarling Tom Hardy playing both twins but also David Thewlis, Christopher Eccleston and Paul Bettany.
