James King gives his opinion on what to watch this weekend with his Top Movie Picks.
Amy (15): Simple but spine-tingling Amy Winehouse documentary, where the power of her fragile personality thankfully gets more screen time than the gossip and rumours. From the director of the equally stunning Senna - another film about a fascinating life cut short.
Love & Mercy (12A): The story of Beach Boy genius Brian Wilson. Of course the guy's had such an up-and-down life, no two hour film can possibly capture it all. But strong performances - especially from Elizabeth Banks, as Brian's girlfriend - and great period style keep things intriguing. With John Cusack and Paul Giamatti.
Minions (U): The tiny yellow twerps continue to own the box-office with their brilliant band of nonsensical eccentricity. Cheeky swipes at several British institutions (including The Queen) make this extra giggle-filled for a UK audience.
