James King gives his Top Movie Picks on what to watch this week. Check out his thoughts on the latest movie releases.
Mr Holmes (12A) - Sir Ian McKellen gives the performance of a lifetime as a fussy, pouty, melancholy Sherlock, struggling with old-age and an unsolved case. Elegant and complex, it's certainly slow... but oh so classy.
Jurassic World (12A) - If only the script had as much bite as its velociraptors, this could've been a monster masterpiece. As it is, the blistering action and spectacle just about make up for the plot-holes and Chris Pratt gives a perfect audition for any proposed Indiana Jones remake.
London Road (15) - Surprisingly effective, low key musical examining the aftermath of Ipswich's 2006 serial killings using dialogue taken from real interviews. If Mamma Mia! still gives you musical nightmares, this could be the earthy antidote you need.
